During my stay, I had a great time exploring the hills of Tuscany by rental car, as this hotel is located in a convenient spot close to the beautiful cities of Siena and San Gimignano. Moreover, the staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations, from the nearest shops and bars in walking distance, to a lovely dinner experience I had in the mountains surrounding a lot of vineyards. Additionally, the parking on site was very convenient, and the hotel facilities and breakfast were more than satisfactory.
Not obvious to find, but once I located it, everything else was a breeze.

La posizione in mezzo alla natura
Non vale le 4 stelle dichiarate. E' un buon 3 stelle ma sicuramente non un 4 stelle. It looks like a 3 star hotel . It can not been considered a 4 star .....breakfast very poor. No relationship with the price paid.

PRACTICAL LOCATION FOR VISITING LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF THE HOTEL WERE THAT IT IS DEFINITELY NOT 4 STAR. DISAPPOINTING UPON ARRIVAL. EXTERIOR AND POOL AREA VERY SHABBY. ROOM VIEW POOR.

Our room with terrace and with the view was outstanding. the swimming pools were great, however, the inside pool could use a facelift.
There was one annoying matter which bothered us a lot : When we received telephone calls from abroad the reception failed to forward the calls to our room for some reason(s). Only after 2 or 3 calls from our friends/family we got contact.

When we awoke in the morning and stepped out onto our porch, it was breathtaking! Set in the Tuscan country side of Italy, we had a spectacular view of rolling hills, with the town of Volterra; made world famous by Stephenie Meyer's best selling novels the "Twilight" series. Quiet and peaceful yet within short distance of historical cities, tourist destinations, shopping, and numerous restaurants. If you're looking to stay in Tuscany and do some relaxing or sight seeing, I would highly recommend staying at the Aquaviva Hotel and Spa, where breakfast is included, you have private porches, room for children to run, courteous and friendly staff, and a beautiful pool which we didn't use, but it looked inviting.
My husband felt that a little more thorough cleaning would have made it perfect. I however thought it was clean and comfortable.

This place exceeded my expectations in every way. The location, nestled among the green hills of the Tuscan countryside, provided a picturesque setting for a relaxing getaway. I loved being able to walk to nearby shops and bars, as well as explore the surrounding mountains and vineyards. The service here was exceptional, with room service, laundry, and even shoe shine service available. The room amenities, including heating, air conditioning, and a mini-bar, ensured my comfort throughout my stay. The terrace was a lovely addition, offering a beautiful spot to unwind and take in the stunning views. The dining options were top-notch, with a restaurant buffet and special diet menus available. The staff at the reception desk, led by Alessandro the Manager, were friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. The leisure facilities, including a spa & wellness centre, indoor swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. The outdoor swimming pool and garden area were also fantastic. The Wi-Fi and free parking were a convenient touch, adding to the ease of my stay.
Without a doubt, I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Overall our stay in the hotel was very good. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Quiet location, nice pool facilities. Big room with air con, lovely views. Good and relaxing massage.
If one wants an little improvement... The breakfast could have been better , it was lacking fresh grounded coffee ( aren't we in Italy?) and fresh bread...It would have been nice to have the option of a cooked breakfast and variations throughout the week. Bigger cereals bowls and coffee cup. And a kettle in the room would have been perfect.

Nestled within the rolling hills of Tuscany, this quaint hotel is surrounded by stunning vineyards and boasts breathtaking views of the green countryside. the room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and a cozy bathroom. the staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to help. the breakfast was delicious, with a selection of pastries and fruits. Plus, the hotel had a lovely pool where guests can relax and soak up the sun. Down the road, there's an excellent restaurant worth trying.
The hotel's location was quite remote, and it was challenging to get around without a car.

Superior rooms were large and spacious. Staff were very pleasant.
Only one English language tv channel, bbc world service news. There are several channels for other languages, Italian (obviously) French and German. The 'private garden' for our room was very barren and had no view. On reflection, would prefer to have a balcony view at the front of the hotel rather than a garden at the rear.

Great view.We had a very nice waiter. I really appreciate that they installed lifts even though the hotel has one floor.
